Mindframe Media and Public Communication Training for Lived and Living Experience Speakers
Mindframe supports lived and living experience speakers across Australia through in-person and online training in collaboration with sector partners.
Our aim is to support people to communicate safely and sensitively when publicly sharing their stories and experiences relating to mental health, mental health concerns, alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns, and suicide.
Sharing your lived and living experience is incredibly powerful. It can create change, provide hope, empower others, and contribute to your own healing. It can also be challenging, uncomfortable or met with resistance and barriers.
Expressions of interest: Mindframe training for lived experience speakers publicly discussing suicide
Everymind is currently seeking expressions of interest for future Mindframe training sessions designed specifically for supporting people to communicate their lived and living experiences of suicide safely, sensitively, and responsibly when sharing their stories publicly.
While the training will focus on sharing stories through media channels, the principles and practical tips can be applied to any public forum.
Sessions are likely to take the form of a 90-minute online workshop and will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. Participant numbers in each session will be limited in order to maximise interactive opportunities for those attending.
If you would be keen to take part in this kind of training, please register your interest via this form.
