Mindframe now an accredited suicide prevention program
The Mindframe program has been awarded accreditation against the Suicide Prevention Australia Standards, second edition.
To achieve this accreditation, various aspects of the Mindframe program were rigorously assessed including the program framework and management, and program outcomes and knowledge sharing.
Mindframe was found to have met all required standards under the Suicide Prevention Accreditation Program with Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP). This included the commitment to ensuring the understanding and insight of people with lived and living experience of suicide are involved in ongoing program development, implementation and evaluation.
The program’s accreditation reflects Everymind’s continued work to improve the quality and status of this vital program that supports safe media reporting, portrayal and communication about suicide, mental health concerns and alcohol and other drugs.
